Today is the Festival of the Double Fifth, i.e. month five day five of Chinese Lunar Calendar. We had very tasty zòngzi rice dumplings.

Asylum Bigotry of “Progressive Jews” vs Israel

If you take this call seriously, you might as well close the shop. Africa has 1 billion people today and 2 billions in 2050 who, also by their reckless multiplication, have brought themselves into a situation where economic as well as political conditions are necessarily harsh. If you really want to implement “just immigration & asylum policies”, you’ll have to send people to Sudan et al and take them all. Why only take those who can afford to pay mafiosi to organize a dangerous trip? Is that just?

The “international standards” which the call is asking Israel to implement are impractical in view of the reality of Africa today. We almost invariably run into the case of uncontrollable and destabilising mass influx for which the UN Assembly of 1967 provided an exception. In general the participants of organized illegal migration outfits should be punished and kept in prison until their repatriation. Source and transition countries need to be put under all available pressure to welcome their citizens back.

It is however obvious that the international institutions whose standards the “progressive Jews” want Israel to implement are not supportive of nation states that want to maintain their integrity. Just a few days ago the UN migration chief Peter Sutherland rather bluntly called on the EU to “do its best to undermine national homogeneity” and to stop targeting “highly skilled” migrants, arguing that “at the most basic level individuals should have a freedom of choice” about whether to come and study or work in another country. This is what “progressive” asylum policies are about in today’s situation, and those who call for them might as well say it as bluntly as Peter Sutherland.

Unconditional Basic Income means Degradation, Illegitimacy and Bankruptcy

To integrate those who are not needed by an ever more automated private economy, we need a public demand for workforce. In other words, we need Conditional Basic Income (CBE), not Un-CBE.

There are many public goods that are being neglected by the private economy and therefore in need of publicly demanded workforce to sustain them. How can the Pirates not know this?

The aim of public policy must be to minimize the extent of unconditional transfer. The fact that Un-CBE has become such a big topic of discussion, especially here in Germany, is very revealing. The “Un” part is what excites people. It is there not as a solution to any of the given problems. Rather it is a consistent outflow of an ideological predilection for “un”doing all the integrative forces of civilization.
